About the Festival

The first annual Grand Avenue Festival was held on September 26, 2009 and will be held each fall as a celebration of the vibrant culture, art, history and adaptive re-use of the Lower Grand Avenue small business district and adjoining neighborhoods. The festival is a day-long event including historic building tours, fashion shows, music performances featuring local talent, open studios, and a variety of other activities throughout the day. The Grand Avenue Festival is a project of the Grand Avenue Merchants’ Association.
