Music lovers won’t want to miss this year’s Grand Avenue Festival on Saturday, September 25! We have live music planned up and down the street all day long and into the evening.
Paisley Violin
OUTSIDE:
- 10am – noon Frequent Kings
- noon – 2pm Smoot Mahooty
- 2 – 3pm J. Miller
- 3 – 5pm James Cowden
- 5 – 7pm Plague Party
- 7 – 9pm Dead River Review
- 9 – 11pm Severe Ted
INSIDE:
All day Jazz from 10am till 10pm
Gallery Marsiglia
Local folk singers all day from 11am to 5pm, including singer/songwriter Alexandra at noon.
Tilt Gallery
Front Porch Finger Picking by guitarist Rob Arpino starting at noon.
Fans of American folk music, roots music, and early country music will especially appreciate this musical performance. From Cannonball Rag to Classical Gas.
Phoenix Fall Space
- 4pm Azul (jazz)
- 7pm Douglas Littlefield (acoustic guitar)
Bandstand at the Oasis on Grand
Live music on the bandstand outside the future home of the Oasis on Grand from 6 to 10pm including rock n roll from CRISIS, solo guitar and keyboard by Mark Nowichi, and spoken word from Janelle Sheppard.
Deus Ex Machina
7pm The Bliss Kickers
The Trunk Space
8pm (doors open at 7:30) $7 per person
Downtempo indie dance music by Casiotone for the Painfully Alone (CFTPA) with Australian band Otouto performing live. This show is very special because it will be Casiotone’s last tour as he is retiring the project after almost 15 years. Also performing, local musicians Michelle Blades (folk) and Rough Tough Dynamite (dancey pop).
