December Third Friday On Grand Avenue

Lower Grand Avenue is the place to be on Third Friday if you’re looking for quality art and entertainment. Shopping, dining, galleries, music and so much more. Take a leisurely stroll down Grand Avenue in a relaxed atmosphere and partake of the eclectic galleries and indie shops that line this historic boulevard.

Special Events & Studio Hours for December Third Friday

• Butter Toast Boutique at Paisley Town will be open from 11 am to 8 pm. Get 10% off if you mention this newsletter!
• Gallery Marsiglia open 5 to 9 pm with a big selection of handcrafted jewelry and accessories from local artists.
• The Trunk Space will be open from 6 to 9 pm featuring new art by Allison Karow, known around town from her work with Tempe’s Bike Saviors Collective. Her work is mixed media, and features everything from drawing, to stuffed animal assemblages. Also, providing audio accompaniment for the evening will be sound artists Glochids. This event is free, but we will be selling the art, as well as espresso drinks, and other artist made goods–perfect for gift giving!
• Sweets & Beats will be open from 3 to 11 pm
• Tilt Gallery open from 6 to 9 pm hosting the closing reception for “The Grand Old Plastic Camera” A Retrospect by Neal Winter, a unique collection of gelatin silver prints in a limited edition.
• Jordre Studio will be open
• Moderncat Studio at Bragg’s Pie Factory will be open from 6 to 10 pm offering a variety of holiday gifts for the cats and cat lovers in your life.
• Wicked Wear at Paisley Town will be open.
• the ambient studio at La Melgosa will be open from 6:30 to 8:30 pm featuring the artwork of artist Daniel Shepherd.
• ShopDevious.com will be open until 7 pm. Come check out the new store design!
• Valley Pizza Downtown will be serving fresh pizza all day from 11 am to 11 pm.
• Paisley Violin Cafe will be open with Katherine from Sweet Talk Radio. Open till midnight with drink specials 3-6pm.
• Kooky Krafts Shop at 1500 Grand Avenue will be introducing a new line of “Cementitious Novelties” by LügenStein. Inexpensive and truly unique, these pastel concrete trinkets are perfect for wonder-cabinets, rock gardens, aquaria/terraria, bookshelves and window sills. Each one-of-a-kind piece is hand-formed, the colors are non-toxic and permanent. A local, Arizona-made product. The store will also have 15% off of most items in the store. Open for Third Friday from 5 to 10 pm.
