Take a leisurely stroll down Grand Avenue in a relaxed atmosphere and partake of the eclectic galleries and indie shops that line this historic boulevard.

Special Events & Studio Hours for November Third Friday

• Paisley Violin Cafe & Paisley Town will host a Mad Hatters Tea Party! Starting at 6 pm and going all night till 9 am. The event includes yoga, great music, dancing and games. Come with a sleeping bag, tent or box…anything to greet the sunrise yoga set and then a light breakfast to follow. For more info contact Chilling Women’s founder Marcia at Wicked Wear. • Sapna Cafe is open for dinner, this month featuring paintings by Ishmael Duenas. Enjoy fresh homemade pasta & other specials. NEW! BYOB! with Ana’s authentic Spanish sangria mix (you add the wine!)
• Tilt Gallery now showing “The Grand Old Plastic Camera” A Retrospect by Neal Winter, a unique collection of gelatin silver prints in a limited edition. Open Third Friday from 6 to 9 pm.
• The Trunk Space is featuring the illustrations of Jon Borrette, a noted chronicler of Robot History. His pieces are deceivingly whimsical drawings of robots wrecking mayhem. The general public doesn’t’t suspect however, that these works are based on actual observations Jon has made of Robot-kind! This show features Robots across the globe!
• The Kooky Kraft Shop at 1500 Grand Avenue, will be open from 6 to 11 pm with work by some of your favorite “extreme crafters”. Come see the newest addition to Kooky Kraft’s inventory, Bob Adams’ naughty dolls, which defy description (at least in print!). Located in the heart of the Lower Grand Avenue small business and arts district where funky meets fun, Kooky Krafts is on the corner of Grand and 15th Avenue along with the infamous Bikini Lounge; Sweets and Beats; and the Trunk Space.
• Moderncat Studio at Bragg’s Pie Factory will be open from 6 to 10 pm offering a variety of art and accessories for cats and cat lovers.
• Phoenix Fall Space and Deus Ex Machina Gallery at the LA Melgosa Building, 1023 W Grand Ave will both be open for Third Friday.
• ShopDevious.com, Sweets & Beats, Jordre Studio and all the shops at Paisley Town will be open regular hours for Third Friday.
